Discover La Paillote du Pontillou, a snack bar where conviviality and flavors meet. Set in enchanting surroundings, it’s the ideal place for a gourmet break with family or friends.
Most of our products are sourced directly from producers.
Enjoy a refreshing drink or house cocktail on the sunny terrace. La Paillote du Pontillou is the perfect place for lunchtime snacks or takeaways, dinner or snacks, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The evening menu features tasty, generous dishes prepared with fresh, local produce : homemade burgers, the unmissable moules-frites, tasty pizzas, duck leg confit and pommes sarladaises, crispy fries, the inevitable Sunday rotisserie chicken and our gourmet desserts. Places are limited, so don’t forget to reserve.
Loan equipment and extras
We can provide you with with deposit numerous board games, an ironing board and iron, European plugs, volleyballs, footballs, badminton rackets…
For rentwe offer a barbecue, fridge, deckchair, parasol, clothes line and, for babies or young children: high chair, cot and playpen… You’ll also find our participatory library for book exchanges.
In addition, we offer thePonti-Kit“for basic necessities.

As well as accommodation, you’ll also benefit from a wide range of services at our family campsite in the Dordogne: La Paillote welcomes you for a drink. Ice creams and snacks are available at lunchtime. In the evening, a convivial meal concocted on site, always in a good mood.
There’s a swimming pool for cooling off, table soccer, table tennis and lots of board games.
An 8 kg washing machine and a freezer are also available in the sanitary block.
In the village, opposite the town hall, you’ll find 2 “MObiVE” charging stations for your electric vehicle.

The grocery store with local products for a serene stay in Dordogne
The biblio-boutiquea large space where you can find all the essentials you need basic necessitiesfood, hygiene and cleaning products. Even swimwear for those who haven’t thought of it.
A special shelf for products from our local local suppliers. Here you’ll find oils, honey, pâtés and terrines, foie gras, artisanal cookies…
You’ll also find games and sweets and a library where you can borrow and exchange a variety of works for young and old.
A playground to delight children
In terms of leisure and activities, our large playground features a 7-workshop Acro Bambino course. Children move easily and safely from one apparatus to the next. It’s great fun for toddlers aged 3 and over. Little acrobats can play and develop their motor skills independently, thanks to workshops placed 40 cm above the ground. And, of course, always under parental supervision.
Leisure and sports facilities
Our courtyard protects a table soccer table and a sofa area for relaxing. Nearby, a beautiful ping-pong table for lively matches. Nearby, a small area with a net awaits volleyball and badminton players. The inevitable pétanque court, a sport adored by many campers. And, of course, the beautiful New Wave double swing that delights young and old alike. Next to the swimming pool, a sandbox is available for the little ones. Other games such as frogs, Breton shuffleboard and board games are also available, subject to a deposit which is returned on loan.
The mini-farm at the campsite near Périgueux
In all modesty, our mini-farm is home to Noisette, a donkey and a couple of dwarf goats. dwarf goats and their biquette born on 09/03/2024.
For their health, please do not feed them. Thank you very much!
Hiding behind the bookshop, chickens offer us a few fresh eggs. And what would a mini-farm be without a dog!… Unquestionably man’s best friend, Maki our Mountain/Border shares our daily lives and will be a great playmate for your children.
Activities and services around the Villamblard campsite
In the village, 1 km away, you’ll find 2 tennis courts and the Villamblard motorcycle club.
Les Elfes archery company, natural archery, Villamblard.
The Bourrou pony-club riding center offers rides and excursions.
A mini-market in Villamblard town center and supermarkets and other shops in Mussidan.
In the area around the campsite, you’ll find a doctor, pharmacy, hardware store and hairdressers, as well as the post office, bank and gendarmerie, to name but a few. Most services are located in the village.
For fans of geocachingFor geocaching enthusiasts, there are numerous caches around the Pontillou campsite, the ideal place to set down amidst unknown discoveries of the area.
If you want to get out and about with the kids, take advantage of the nearby attractions: Neuvic leisure park, Eden et Sens park in Ginestet, Lac de Pombonne in Bergerac, Gigaparc in Creysse, Port miniature in Bergerac, Wakari in Marsac-sur-l’Isle…

Practical: take our shuttle to the Mussidan station
Do you prefer to come to Le Pontillou by train ? We can pick you up pick you up at Mussidan station. Alone or as a couple, even with your bicycles, it’s easier than looking for a cab. Our NAVETTE is available for your arrival and/or departure. Contact us if you need one!
