The history of camping in Villamblard
“Le Pontillou, meaning “little bridge” in Occitan, is Villamblard’s former municipal campsite, located in the valley of the same name. We were seduced by its charm in 2021.
Every year, we continue to upgrade and embellish the campsite to ensure you enjoy a relaxing vacation in the Périgord countryside.
FromApril to the end of October, we’ll be delighted to welcome you to this bucolic haven of peace, ideal for a relaxing vacation with family or friends.
But also for groups of cyclists, bikers, associations, works councils… in a relaxed atmosphere.

Campsite development
From many new features in recent years, including complete renovation of the sanitary facilities, landscaping, new children’s play equipment, refurbishment of the Paillote and its terrace, safety measures for the swimming pool area, complete refurbishment of all …. rental units and much more.
From 2022, four new mobile homes complete the range:
- A sublime Cottage with a surface area of 38 m² and a large 27 m² semi-covered terrace. It has 2 bedrooms, including a master suite.
- The magnificent mobil-home Texas 30 m² with 3 bedrooms and large semi-covered terrace, sleeps 6.
- 2 beautiful Louisiane mobile homes 40 m² including a fully covered terrace, sleeps 5 people
